About Elliana

I’m a New York–based Assistant Director and production professional known for strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to read a room quickly on set. I work best in rapid-turnover production environments and bring a calm and proactive presence that helps teams stay aligned.

I currently work as a Production Assistant on Saturday Night Live and take on freelance roles across film and television, including a recent Netflix feature. I’m comfortable shifting priorities, thinking on my feet, and anticipating what directors, department heads, and crew need in order to keep the day running smoothly.

As part of my master’s thesis short film, I worked within a six-person leadership team and led fundraising, budgeting, vendor coordination, and production logistics while collaborating closely on creative direction and visual cohesion. Operating within a small, high-responsibility team sharpened my ability to adapt when plans change and support both creative goals and on-set realities.

With a strong foundation in production operations and virtual production workflows, I’m focused on continuing to grow as a leader on set through assistant directing. I’m motivated by creating environments where people feel prepared, supported, and respected—because that’s when the best work gets done.

Outside of work, I’m a frequent moviegoer and a strong advocate for seeing films in theaters, with a particular love for Giallo cinema. I stay active through golf and yoga, enjoy cooking at home, and spend time exploring New York’s museums. I’m always practicing my Spanish and French, and I value maintaining balance alongside the intensity of production work.
